Dr Sarah Verbeek – She/Her
Dr Sarah Verbeek was raised in Gippsland and returned to the area as a hospital doctor after completing her medical degree at Monash University. She has worked at West Gippsland and Latrobe Regional Hospitals doing additional terms in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Emergency before working in several general practices in Gippsland. She has additional qualifications in children’s health and women’s health and offers shared pregnancy care with the obstetricians in West Gippsland and Latrobe Regional Hospitals.
Since completing her GP fellowship qualification Sarah has completed training in NDC accreditation (Neuroprotective Developmental Care; also known as the ‘Possums’ program) and is pleased to offer dedicated long consults supporting parents and babies with problems related to feeding, sleep, cry/fuss behaviour and perinatal mental health. Outside of work she enjoys baking, trying to keep house plants alive and watching Bluey with her 3 children.
