About Us
| ST Skin Cancer Clinic, established in March 2026, was created to provide a trusted local service where patients can access thorough skin checks and high-quality care in a calm, welcoming, and respectful environment. Dr Sia Tan is a General Practitioner with a dedicated focus on Skin Cancer Medicine, committed to helping our community reduce the impact of skin cancer through early detection, prevention, and education. He has undertaken extensive training in skin cancer medicine and dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College Australasia, completed advanced skin cancer training with HealthCert, and gained valuable hands-on experience working in a dedicated skin cancer clinic. He is currently completing the recognised accreditation and fellowship pathway with the Skin Cancer College Australasia, reflecting an advanced commitment to skin cancer medicine. At the heart of the clinic is a patient-centred approach — taking the time to listen, explain findings clearly, and involve patients in every step of their care. Our focus is on providing careful, evidence-based assessments and management, with the goal of building long-term relationships founded on trust, transparency, and continuity of care. |  |

Preparing for Your Skin Check
At ST Skin Cancer Clinic, our priority is to provide a thorough and accurate skin cancer assessment.
To assist with this, we kindly ask patients to attend their skin check appointment without nail polish (including gel, shellac or acrylic nails), make-up, fake tan, or heavy moisturisers.
Skin cancers, including melanoma, can occur on the skin, scalp, and nails. These products may obscure important features and limit our ability to fully assess all areas during your examination.

Appointment Policy – Non-Attendance & Late Cancellation
ST Skin Cancer Clinic is a private-billing practice. Appointment times are specifically allocated to allow adequate time for comprehensive skin cancer assessments and procedures.
A $50.00 Did Not Attend (DNA) or late cancellation fee applies if:
• You do not attend your scheduled appointment, or
• You cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice
This fee reflects the clinical time reserved for you and is not rebatable through Medicare or private health insurance.
We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to maintain high-quality care and appointment availability for all patients.
